Vacation Watch

The Vacation Watch is a program offered to residents who will be away from their residence for an extended period of time usually consisting of more than 2-3 days. This program informs officers of your departure date, returning date, who is allowed to be on your property and any other information the resident feels officers should know.

Submitted information is entered into the operating / reporting system for the police department and is confidential. The information is stored at a secure location and residents should feel safe in submitting this sensitive information. Once the information is entered, patrol officers will drive by the residence and know what to watch for.

There is NO cost or fee for this, and residents are encouraged to use this program whenever they are away from home. Please download and fill out your form. You may deliver it either via Department Fax at (940)365-0664, by email to Chief James Edland at jedland@kvpd.org, or deliver it in person to the Police Department at 5246 US HWY 377 Ste. #10 (Monday-Thursday 8am-Noon) or to the Krugerville Municipal Court at 5097 US HWY 377 Monday-Thursday (9am-11am / 1pm-4pm).
